Product Overview

PLB HDPE Telecom Ducts (Permanently Lubricated High-Density Polyethylene Ducts) are specially designed conduits used for laying underground optical fibre cables (OFC). These ducts have a smooth inner surface with a permanent lubricant layer, allowing fast and safe cable installation using blowing techniques. They are flexible, UV-resistant, weatherproof, and come in various sizes and colours for easy identification.

Jointing Methods

• Plastic Couplers (Push-fit or Compression-type) are used to connect two duct sections securely.
• Couplers ensure airtight and watertight joints with smooth inner alignment.
• Accessories like End Plugs, Cable Sealing Plugs, and End Caps are used to seal and protect the ducts before and after cable installation.
• Couplers are tested to withstand high pulling forces and maintain joint integrity.
